Brushing Instruction


1. Use a soft bristle brush and an ADA accepted fluoride toothpaste to remove plaque and food particles, atleast twice a day or after each meal.

2. Replace your brush every three months.

3. Hold your brush at a 45 degree angle. Begin by brushing the outside of the front teeth . use a gentle back and forth motion.

4. Next , brush the outside back teeth, steering along the gum line.

5. Inside back teeth; use short angled brush strokes.

6. On inside surfaces of front teeth , tilt brush vertically and use gentle up and down strokes with toe of brush.

7. On chewing surfaces , hold the brush flat and brush back and forth.

8. Brush the tongue in a back to front sweeping motion to remove food particles and freshen your mout.


Flossing Instruction


1. Wrap an 18 inch strand around your middle fingers and hold a one inch section tightly

2. Ease floss between teeth. clean up and down several times while curving around teeth at the gum line

3. As you move from tooth to tooth , use a fresh section of floss each time.

4. Flossing daily removes plaque and food particles between teeth and below the gum line



If you have trouble handling floss the use a floss you may experience sore or bleeding gums for first several days you floss. If bleeding continues after the first week of flossing, call your dental professional
